As part of the “Open Sourced Book Project” I have to figure out under which conditions, licens, we want or should work.
I have NO clue what so ever. I just surfed by Creative Commons. Experience? Anyone?
By the Way - Wiki is up and running….;-)

Referenceprofilen har godkendt Creative Commons.
En af dem der ved mest om CC er Anne Østergård.
Call Martin vHG, I’m sure he has a view on this but….
1) You have copyright to whatever you write, until you sign any rights away. That is whether you formally register the copyright or not.
2) Registering the copyright is costly, but makes your life marginally easier if you later sue someone for using your work without permission.
3) The Creative Commons project is a way through which you can say to the public which rights you want to keep and which you give away. For example, you will see a CC tag on my blog that says (if you click on it) “This is my stuff, but you can use it if you a) give me credit and b) don’t make money from it.”
4) You can go through the CC site and make your own choices; at the end, you get a bit of code and a logo.
How much protection will that buy you? Not a clue. Like so many things out here in blogosphere, it’s an honor system.
