Yesterday I had a meeting with the “Institute for Creativity and Innovation” - a Danish Network of professionals who really cares about how to create Innovation. We had a brief talk about different topics and of course we came by weblogs.
It gave me a few new perspectives - I would like to share them with you.
Thomas suggested that we should/could place our weblog-communication behaviour as points in following model - In fact communication behaviour in general:

I tried to place my self - as I see my self - in the model. But, but, but, I don’t think it’s the hole truth. One could argue It’s the way I wish to see my self, and they are right. Where do you place your self?
How “Open” - extrovert - are you really, and is it in fact a goal to be open by all means?
When it comes to personal weblogs there are of course different boundaries - some are VERY open, some closed. But if you think about Corporate Blogging - how would that apply to the model?
Any suggestions, any cases? Where would you place CEO-blogs? PR/marketing/communication-blogs? Internal Knowledge Management-blog? Other Kinds of Corporate Weblogs?
Or what about the different book-project discussed lately? Red Couch? Open Sourced Book Project? Jeremy’s project?
I’m curious, so please share your thoughts.
