Product blogs - a way creating buzz?

Okay - you have a new product in the assembly line. You know its coming, you have to push it out in the marketplace, you a dependent on a lot of buzz. What do you do?

Well - knowing of the new possibilities that the world have to give you you’ll of course consider hiring a blogger.

That is what Treo has done. Or is it in fact a private blog? I really don’t know but it put a new dimension into the corporate blogosphere - some of you already know. But it’s a nice example!

    Mike Manuel has a piece here about creating buzz ahead of the DEMO conference — they are doing some interesting work.

    The other approach is to just sue any blogger who loves your product enough to start some buzz. That’s what Apple is doing. Read more here:

    Which to choose? Probably depends on whether you really like your customers or just think you do.
