Jake has started making notes for a new book. Interesting. What I find interesting in particular is the topic. “Community”.
I have a great personal interest in weblogs as a tool for digital Communities of Practice - CoP.
I know there has been a lot of discussion about Etienne Wengers principles described in the early 90’s applied to the conditions of a digital environment - is it in fact is possible to create CoP’s via. fx. a weblog?
I think it is.
Interesting to see what perspectives Jake has to offer :-)

I suppose you’ve already read it, but a classic in this particular subject is Hagel & Armstrongs “Net Gain”. It’s a must-read for everyone interested in communities and the like. I’ve had my copy for quite some years now, and i’ve been using it almost on a day-to-day basis.
