Over the last months I’ve been in dialogue with “Initiativ for Kreativitet og innovation - IKI“; Initiative for Creativity and Innovation about developing a weblog, a forum, a Community about Innovation and Creativity. A frame for conversations.
During Christmas I made a mockup, a 1. draft for a weblog an a few days ago I arranged a worhshop with some of the key-stakeholders making sure that their perception of weblogs as a tool was on the right track.
It was a marvellous evening - VERY productive.
Some major learnings was:
1. Make sure that you have the same language - That you have the same vocabulary, the same “understanding”.
2. Don’t tell me - show me. It’s not enough telling about the tool. Ensure “right-on-experience” Let each and everyone try it out. Use the tools, show how easy it really is.
3. Try to engage - make commitment. Make sure that everyone understands the simplicity, ease of use, and try to agree upon a plan for proceedings and “roll out”.
In a day or two I’ll show you the weblog :-)
